My Degree Program and Current Course

I am in the process of finishing up my Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Southern Mississippi. Yeah! It has been a blessing to be able to work on it completely online since I live in California. If you're interested, check it out at http://www.usm.edu/slis/. I have been working on it for 4 long years. My last class, Internet Resources and Applications, finishes up tomorrow and then I am on to starting my Master's Project (kind of like a thesis). I have enjoyed this course. I have learned so much about webpages, networks, social software, including blogs, online communities, and wikis. The information will be so helpful in my future career working in libraries. It's been a whirl wind course as it has been a full semester's worth of material packed into 2 weeks! But I really have had a good time. Not only has the information been excellent but I feel like there is a good camaraderie among the class and professor.
